I did see Ae Fond Kiss, because of who directed it, and enjoyed it as a film with some substance even if a little hackneyed in theme.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;My favourite romantic comedies have tended to be non-Hollywood and include Like Water For Chocolate, Truly Madly Deeply and Punch-Drunk Love.
